Bill has successfully orally argued appeals to federal Courts of Appeal three judge judicial panels in Denver, Colorado (The 10th Circuit) and New Orleans, Louisiana (The Fifth Circuit), appeared in Los Angeles/Pasadena, California (The Ninth Circuit), as well as state appeals to The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals and to the Texas Courts of Appeals.

Bill has been lead counsel before The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Tenth and Ninth Circuits.

Bill has won appeals in the Federal Courts of Appeals of the 5th Circuit, the 9th Circuit, and the 10th Circuit Courts of Appeals, a rare accomplishment.

Bill Zuhdi’s experience as lead counsel in numerous federal jury trials and in state jury trials is vast. Bill Zuhdi as lead counsel has prepared and written as lead appellate counsel numerous appeals in both federal and state courts of appeal as well as The United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.

Bill Zuhdi has represented clients in federal and state courts in Texas, Oklahoma, California, Missouri, Colorado, Louisiana, Illinois, Georgia, Arkansas, Kansas, California, Hawaii, the District of Columbia, Nevada and New York. His Juris Doctor was obtained at the University of Oklahoma (J.D. 1982). He is a member of The State Bar of Texas and of the Oklahoma Bar Association. He is a former member of The Death Penalty Habeas Corpus Panel for the Western District of Oklahoma, and current member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the Northern District of Texas. Bill has served as moderator for the Literacy Summit continuing legal education program. He has over 35 years of experience in all fazes of trial and appellate practice. His many published opinions in appellate courts include The United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals.


Bill has been lead counsel before The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Tenth and Ninth Circuits and has won appeals in all three federal circuits.

Bill Zuhdi has appeared on ABC World News Tonight with Peter Jennings and was interviewed about Sixth Amendment rights and Federal Sentencing issues.  Bill Zuhdi was also interviewed and quoted in The Wall Street Journal and in the New York Times.
